Revanesse, Restylane, and Juvederm are hyaluronic acid based and temporarily fill fine lines and wrinkles and replaces lost volume.

Most hyaluronic acid fillers are FDA approved to last up to one year with optimal correction. Dependent on where the filler is injected, longevity may vary.

Bellafill

Bellafill contains polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres which are suspended within a base of smooth collagen gel.  Over time, your body uses the microspheres in Bellafill to create a “scaffold” onto which your own natural collagen can develop. Natural looking results that feel soft and smooth for up to 5 years.

Before Your Dermal Filler Appointment

  • Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores/fever blisters to receive a prescription for prophylactic antiviral therapy prior to treatment.

  • Avoid dental work at least two weeks prior to treatment and one month following treatment.

  • 7 days prior to treatment to prevent bruising: Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen and Aleve. Also avoid herbal supplements, such as Garlic, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and Omega-3

  • 3 days prior to treatment: Avoid topical products suck as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or any “Anti-Aging” products. Also avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing or the use of hair removal cream on the area to be treated.

  • Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before (or after) your treatment to avoid extra bruising.

What To Expect During Treatment

Your injector will choose the proper filler for you and your needs. Numbing cream will be place on the skin in the area to be injected with filler. Once the area is numb, filler is injected.

What to Expect After Your Dermal Filler Appointment

  • Apply an ice or cold gel pack to the area treated to helps reduce swelling and bruising.

  • Refrain from wearing make up for at least 24 hours after injections.

  • Avoid placing excessive pressure on the treated area for the first few hours.

  • Avoid exercise or strenuous activities for 24-48 hours after treatment

  • You may take Acetaminophen/Tylenol if you experience any mild tenderness or discomfort.

  • Wait a minimum of four weeks before receiving any skin care or laser treatments.

What To Expect At Your Appointment

First, we will take a sample of your blood into a tube and place it into a device called a centrifuge that rapidly spins the sample, separating out the other components of the blood from the platelets and concentrating them within the plasma. You may experience mild redness, irritation, bruising, or swelling after your treatment but usually resolves within 24 hours of treatment.

How Long Does It Take To See The Results?

Results from Platelet Rich Plasma can be seen in as little as three weeks and can last up to three years.
